Lipstick Love.

Holla. 

As summer is on our doorsteps I'm so excited to create makeup looks that suit the season, I do love a dark eye with a deep red lip but its time to get the pinks and peaches out! theres so many brands that are bringing out gorgeous products that help get that wet dewy look to the skin I cant wait to get my hands on them.. Urban Decay have bought out the 'Alice in Wonderland' Booooy does that have some gorgeous colours for the summer, NYX have really done it for me with their new products 'born to glow' liquid illuminator uhhhh if you love bronzed highlighted skin pleeease get your butt down to your nearest NYX stand and bag your self that, they also have some beaut products for the lips, I want to get my hands on the 'plush gel lipsticks' there a bit of me! I need to get myself down the shops which is also an excuse for a makeup hall! 

I have a thing for lipsticks at the moment as you know I adore mac products so in this post i will tell you my opinion on some of the brands lipsticks I have & used. 

MATTE lipsticks are all the rage, but one of the trickiest to work with definitely delivers the best colour payoff and is the most long-wearing of them all, the downside however, is that it will show every crease in your lips and make them dry so unless your lips are in smokin' hot condition and you prep them before almost every application i would be careful when choosing a matte lipstick. they are also quite hard to remove.

CREEMSHEEN lipsticks are extremely creamy and glossy. they aren't as pigmented as the other lipsticks but are by no means sheer. because of the creaminess, they are quite hydrating, but not that long-wearing for me this is abit annoying as they are one of my favourites having to re-apply lipstick can be abit of a pain if your working or out and about but other than those cons i do recommend them because of how they do make your lips feel. 

SATIN lipsticks are my absolute personal fave, they are long-wearing and offer opacity without being as drying as their matte lipsticks i love satin lipsticks its as though the matte finish was introduced to some conditioner and they made sweet love. some of the best and most exciting colours come in the satin finish, my goto satin finish at the moment is VIVAGLAM II it goes with so much!! 

My first EVER Mac Lipstick was RUBY WOO I was a fan of red lipstick back in the day!

Airbrush Makeup Artist... SAY WHAAAT!

I've got some exciting news to tell you all, I have recently just done an Airbrush Makeup course at my local college.

on the day  I was so excited I couldn't contain myself, I mean anything to do with makeup I turn into a complete freak so that day I was extra excited because I was learning something completely alien to me, on the course we learned how to apply face, eye and lip makeup with an airbrush gun,  I've heard people say 'oh airbrush makeup thats cheating' all I say to those people is Yeaaaaah right, i'd like them to try it. at first it was hard you have to concentrate so much, but i soon got the hang of it, I had my friend Samantha with me as she was training to, so we practiced on each other it was nice to work with someone I know well as it gave me confidence if i mucked up she wouldn't mind and vice versa, luckily i didn't wreck her face i was so happy with how her makeup came out, I felt like a pro! haha, i didn't know you could do so much with an airbrush gun! our group was using "DINAIR" (they are an american company who have amazing tutorials on youtube) there products are amazing so pigmented I would highly recommend, when choosing a foundation colour for Samantha we tried JUST one and it was perfect so with clients I can tell it wont take long to find the perfect, using airbrush with brides/people who have a special occasion will be a huge advantage because it can last up to 24 hours which is fab who wouldn't want there makeup to be perfect for the entire day&night!!  I learned so much on the course and passed with flying colours, So i now have a diploma in airbrush makeup! eeeeek.

Airbrushing has so many Pro's.

• lasts up to 24 hrs
• neater coverage
• not as heavy
• hypo allergenic
• more hygienic (your hands don't make contact with skin) 
• so quick to do a face (you could have more clients at a time) 

Although I have this under my belt I still adore doing traditional makeup and will always offer both to clients and friends, theres something about traditional 
makeup its an art its my art, I'm so excited for my future in the makeup industry the only way is up!  now lets raise a glass to the red lipsticks!

where have i been?

I know I shouldnt keep making excuses, but I have been SO busy with work and other boring stuff, but i promise im back! Regular updates, tutorials and GRWM videos to come, its been a while since I last posted which is annoying its thrown me off track, so i decided to bring myself back with a simple makeup look and some well cool photos my super boyfriend took for me I love them & I hope you guys do too.

I used lots of different products for the look created, mainly MAC as I've said in previous posts that MAC makeup really works for me so Its my go to brand, im hoping to order some different makeup soon! One brand I really want to try is TARTE cosmetics ive seen in lots of youtube videos how highly reccomended it is, but quite hard to get hold of here in the UK! Ive also been studying lots on makeup and skin skin care keeping your skin as healthy and hydrated whilst wearing makeup day in day out is soooo important, I always like to let my skin breathe atleast one day a week, I can be pretty lazy with my skincare routine because we all know what its like when we get home from work and cant even be bothered to use a makeup wipe to take off our makeup, BUT I need to pinch myself and make sure I religiously care for my skin!   (I will share my routine very soon)  right so im going to moisturise and sit with cucumber over my eyes ;)

MAC MAC MAC.

Hola.  soooo, I have been at my sisters for the past few days in London to be honest it was a nice break away, we didn't do much but was nice to relax & spend quality time with her before the appearance of my nephew because she will be extremely busy when he's here! Me and my sister went to BlueWater for a mooch around, I just couldn't help myself I had to go into mac, I had a lovely makeover from a guy named Benjamin who is an artist for mac, I  had help in choosing what was right for me and my skin, he told me tips which I will share with you guys when I eventually get the time to post on my Youtube channel. Lets say I got a little excited and treated myself to some lovely bits I thought it was about time I updated my kit. Ive always liked Mac as it goes on my skin nicely as its such nice quality it can work out expensive but its worth it, makeup that is more pricey to drugstore makeup lasts longer and wears better sometimes its hard for myself and other people to keep on top of buying higher end brands as it does work out more expensive but as you all probably know its SO worth it, i haven't wanted to do anything else but apply my makeup and try all different looks with it which i will be posting very verrrry soon..

Busy busy

ITS MARCH. I SWEAR IT WAS CHRISTMAS FIVE MINUETS AGO!!!

 so I haven't posted in a couple of weeks, work has been keeping me on my toes I just haven't had the time to get creative with my blog its annoying how demanding work can be sometimes, well it keeps the money coming so I guess we have no choice (I deffo need a holiday) I have so many ideas for my blog and plan on doing Vlogs too eeeeek. when I get a spare 10 minuets I'll get down to business!

Apart from work i have a few exciting things coming up. my sister is expecting a baby and the arrival is fast approaching we have her baby shower coming up which Im really looking forward to it will be the first one i've ever been too! soon after the shower my nephew will be making an appearance I wish it would hurry up! I just cannot wait to meet him! its surreal that i'm going to be an aunty! (well one broke aunty haha) I've already spoilt him and I have my sights set on lots of other lovely bits for him.. kinda good i've been busy at work. 

In the future i would like to work with other bloggers and brands to share my opinion on different things! I've read other blogs watched vlogs on different products from different brands it all looks so interesting & important i'd love to review a few things! so if you know any websites that allow bloggers to connect with brands pleeease comment your ideas etc! 

my next post will be alot more exciting than this one, I just thought i'd fill in the gaps and tell you what i plan on doing! if you have any ideas on what you would like to see me post about do comment.

Valentines Day. 3 Year anniversary.

So, Valentines Day, February 14th. 

The day I became my Loves Girlfriend, sounds cheesy, but its a special day. I wont go into alot of detail about how we met etc, but we went to the same college he added me on facebook and things progressed from there, I say progressed.. we was talking for about 2 years before we started dating & now here we are 3 years on. 

This valentines we haven't been able to do anything special as we've both been working our socks off, but I got the hugest bunch of flowers (there absolutely gorgeous) being showered with gifts and flowers is lovely but its not what I'm about, I'm  happy with a film pizza and just quality time with the person I love. 

 

This is a major TB of us. 

I cant wait to spend lots more Valentines with Dale, & hopefully we're not working next year.

These photos are a few photos of me from the summer to the beginning of this year (yes i  have changed my hair dramatically) I often have my pictures taken by my boyfriends mum, she is a professional photographer based in EastSussex, "modelling" has always been a really fun thing for me to do, I modelled from a young age when i was around 5/6 I was in the NEXT catalogue, i featured in lots of different magazines & adverts. so I guess I just still love prancing around infront of the camera.

Hello Everyone,

Im Grace Im 21 years old. I live in East Sussex and am currently a waitress in an Italian restaurant (i love Italian food) its definitely not where I want to be forever but its giving me pennies for now.  I have been wanting to create a blog for a long time now but I just haven't given myself the push to do it, my blog will mainly show you  my obsession with makeup & beauty products but will include my latest fashion trends and whats happening in my life.
